- What does on-call cost?
- €12 per responder per month (€9.60 billed yearly), on top of the Starter plan (€9/month) or Business plan (€29/month). Each responder includes 30 SMS and 15 voice calls a month, shared by the team. Paging never stops at the allowance: extra SMS are €0.10 and extra calls €0.40. See pricing.
- Who counts as a responder?
- Anyone who takes part in an on-call rotation or escalation policy. Teammates who only look at dashboards, monitors and incidents don’t need a responder seat.
- Which tools can page us?
- Grafana, Prometheus Alertmanager, Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, Amazon CloudWatch (through SNS), email and any tool that can send a webhook. Webalert’s own uptime, SSL, DNS, port and heartbeat monitors page you too. Starter includes 3 inbound integrations and Business includes unlimited.
- We’re on Opsgenie. Should we move now?
- Atlassian has stopped selling Opsgenie and is ending support in April 2027, so every Opsgenie team has to move somewhere. Webalert covers what most small teams use Opsgenie for: rotations, escalation, phone and SMS paging, and alerts from Grafana, Datadog, Sentry and CloudWatch. Import your Opsgenie schedules and escalation policies in a few minutes, then run both side by side before you switch.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Every new account gets 14 days with on-call for up to 5 responders, with no credit card. The trial includes 30 SMS and 15 calls a month; past that, pages go by email until you add a card. You can confirm your phone and get a test call in the first minute.
- How do we acknowledge a page?
- Press 1 on the call, reply 1 to the SMS, or tap the link in the SMS or email. Acknowledging stops the escalation, so the next person isn’t woken up.
